Mark Hawn
Chief Executive Officer, Excelerate Discovery
Mark Hawn has 30 years of experience in litigation support services.
As Founder and President of Legal Copies International, Mark started Atlanta Legal Copies in 1988 with five employees and grew the company to 26 cities with over 2,500 employees and annualized sales of $100 million. Mark was Atlanta’s Entrepreneur of the year in 1993. In 1994, 1995, and 1996 INC magazine recognized Legal Copies International as one of the fastest growing companies in America.
In 2002, Mark started Docuforce, an Atlanta-based litigation support company. In 2004, he acquired Onsite Sourcing and merged the two companies. By 2005, the company had grown into one of the largest eDiscovery companies in America with sales of $75 million and offices coast to coast.
Christopher Jensen, Esq.
President, TrustPoint
Christopher Jensen (“CJ”) is a partner at TrustPoint International and was one of the original founders of the parent company Excelerate Discovery, LLC.
CJ is a former practicing attorney with more than 15 years of experience in the legal services sector. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and trade shows, covering a wide range of e-discovery topics – from the proliferation of litigation technologies to project management protocols.
CJ is a native of low country South Carolina and is a “Double Deacon,” having received both his B.A. and his J.D. from Wake Forest University. He currently lives near Baltimore, Maryland and works out of the Washington, DC office. CJ is a baseball aficionado and a minority interest owner of a minor league baseball team, the Richmond Flying Squirrels.

Rick Avers
Chief Development Officer, TrustPoint
Rick Avers has over 23 years of experience managing large scale, multi-location document collections and productions. Over the past 10 years, Rick has organized programs alongside counsel in 54 different U.S. cities and numerous countries around the world including China, Korea, Bermuda, Great Britain, Germany, Australia and the Caribbean. Additionally, Rick has supported a variety of companies across a wide range of business sectors including governmental, legal, financial, high technology, and the oil and gas industries.
Prior to joining TrustPoint, Rick was a key member in developing Onsite3, Merrill Corporation, Ikon and Pitney Bowes Management Services. Rick’s successful involvement in architecting solutions and leading various technical staff through large multi-national discovery matters brings TrustPoint a broad experience in developing state-of-the-art eDiscovery platforms and subscription based modeling.

Steve Simeone, CPA, CFA
Chief Financial Officer, TrustPoint
As Chief Financial Officer of TrustPoint International, Steve Simeone is responsible for the financial management of the company. His duties range from financial reporting, cash management, budgeting and planning, financial analysis, and mergers and acquisitions – to the corporate administration of payroll, billing and human resources. Steve has more than 25 years of financial management experience, the last seven of which have been in the staffing and legal support industries.
Steve received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and his MBA from Duke University. Additionally, he holds certifications as both a Certified Public Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Todd Tabor
Vice President of Operations, TrustPoint
Todd Tabor has over two decades of experience in discovery serving Fortune 100 companies with their collection, production, hosting, and review needs.
Additionally, Todd has supported clients in governmental, legal, financial services, mortgage, high technology, and health sciences industries, as well as construction and energy. Todd has led collection teams in more than 20 countries including China, South Africa, Bermuda, Turkey, India, Russia, and the Caribbean – involving hundreds of corporate entities and dozens of custodians.

Ed Caufield
Partner, TrustPoint
Since joining the legal staffing industry in 1997, Ed Caufield’s client service skills have established him as one of the legal industry’s foremost authorities on legal professional staffing and
ediscovery review.
Ed’s national reach and reputation have earned him the distinction of working with some of the country’s most well-respected firms and
legal departments. As a leader in the legal staffing industry, he has
been responsible for developing and implementing some of the most innovative client programs in the staffing industry.

Ki Yun Hwang, Esq.
President, Black Letter Discovery
Ki Yun Hwang heads Black Letter Discovery (BLD), which was acquired by TrustPoint in 2012. As President, Ki is responsible for the financial performance of BLD, leading company-wide business development, project management, strategic partnerships and strategic initiatives. He also serves as General Counsel, managing BLD’s legal issues.
Prior to joining BLD, Ki was the promotional partner at a boutique law firm that represented Fortune 500 companies and international clients. Fluent in Korean, Ki also has experience working at international law firms. Ki earned a B.A. from UCLA before receiving his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Geoff Wilcox, Esq.
Executive Vice President, Black Letter Discovery
Geoff is responsible for the business operations of Black Letter Discovery’s Ohio Review Centers, and is also involved in company-wide business development and project management. He was instrumental in developing BLD’s operating manuals for document review best practices and continues to implement improvements. He is a frequent speaker on e-discovery, and designs and teaches BLD’s Continuing Legal Education classes on document review practice.
Geoff earned his B.A. from Miami University where he graduated summa cum laude and his J.D. from Harvard Law School where he graduated magna cum laude. His clerkships include the U.S. District Court, Northern District of California and Massachusetts Appeals Court.
